Role Description
This full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Specialist/Competitor Intelligence at our HQ in Houston, Texas. The Marketing Specialist/Competitor Intelligence will be responsible for monitoring market trends, researching and analyzing competitors, and identifying potential opportunities for growth. This professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Sales & Finance) to co-develop and execute strategic plans and campaigns (trade shows, print, online, product literature), and provide valuable intelligence, insights and recommendations to support InduMar’s business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing and/or competitor intelligence, preferably in the composite industry and serving end users, installers and distributors in the following segments: petrochemical & refining, midstream pipeline, upstream oil and gas, mining, marine transportation, other process facilities and Infrastructure rehabilitation.
- Strong analytical and research skills, ability to analyze and interpret complex data to draw insights and make actionable recommendations.
- Experience with data visualization tools and competitor intelligence platforms such as PitchBook, Crunchbase as well as SalesForce, Quickbooks, MS Office Suite, Tableau and others.
- Experience and knowledge of SEO, PPC, and web analytics is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
